What's new

Ready Hand still changes often. The version on a saved card matches the one below, so a screenshot can always be placed — it names the build and nothing else, because how far a score can be trusted depends on which ruleset produced it and is said beside that ruleset.

Last week's night stops pretending to be tonight, and the card shows the best hand

0.110.0 · 21 Sep 2026

  • Come back after a gap and the tally now says when it was last played and offers to start a new game. It asks rather than decides, and “start a new game” wraps the old one up so you still get the card before it goes.
  • The night card draws the evening’s biggest hand — the actual tiles, not just the pattern names.
  • The card also stopped repeating itself: it was printing the points leader underneath a scoreboard already sorted by points.
Taking a hand back asks first, and the tally reads lighter

0.109.1 · 21 Sep 2026

  • Take back a hand now asks before it removes one — the second tap names the hand, so you can see what is going. It forgets it was asked after a few seconds, so a stray tap cannot leave the next one loaded.
  • The tally says less. It was printing “most points” underneath a scoreboard already sorted by points, which was the top row said twice, and “most hands” even when it was the same player. Both are gone unless they tell you something the rows cannot.
Take back a hand you recorded wrong

0.109.0 · 21 Sep 2026

  • Tapped the wrong seat? The tally now offers to take the last hand back, and the button says which one it means — “Take back 40 to Ah Ming” — so you can see what is going before you press it.
  • Press it again to keep going back. The names and the animals stay put, so a mis-tap costs you the hand and nothing else.
Name the seats before the first hand

0.108.0 · 21 Sep 2026

  • Naming is now on the screen where you pick who won, so a table can put four names down as it sits, instead of waiting until somebody has already won a hand.
  • The names appear on the seat square straight away — so picking a winner is tapping a name rather than working out which chair is “across”.
Tonight answers the wind questions for you

0.106.0 · 21 Sep 2026

  • With an evening running, the seat and round winds arrive already filled in — the app asked who dealt when you recorded the last hand, so asking again was a question it was holding the answer to.
  • It tells you where the answers came from and who it thinks is dealing, and both are still one tap to change. The deal passes differently from table to table, so it offers rather than decides.

Only changes a player could notice are listed. Plenty of releases fix things nobody would ever have seen.
