What's new
Ready Hand still changes often. The version on a saved card matches the one below, so a screenshot can always be placed — it names the build and nothing else, because how far a score can be trusted depends on which ruleset produced it and is said beside that ruleset.
A pung completed off a discard no longer scores as concealed
0.115.4 · 24 Sep 2026
- Winning by taking the tile that finished your last pung, rather than drawing it yourself, no longer pays Two, Three or Four Concealed Pungs for that pung — it was scoring every pung as concealed no matter how the winning tile arrived. Reported by a player.
About now mentions the tally
0.115.3 · 22 Sep 2026
- “What it does” didn’t say a single scored hand can also start a running tally for the table — it does, and now the About page says so.
The tally stays honest about the deal and about the unit
0.115.2 · 22 Sep 2026
- The dealer suggestion on the seat square only ever appeared on a tally's first hand — every hand after that needed the dealer tapped by hand. It now carries through the whole evening, the way it was meant to.
- Switching styles to compare a hand after scoring it, then switching back, could let that hand slip into a tally kept in the other unit — faan recorded as if it were points, or the reverse. The tally now always checks against what the hand was actually scored as, not whichever style happens to be showing.
The seat and round wind stop defaulting to a free answer
0.115.1 · 21 Sep 2026
- Scoring without a tally, the two wind questions used to start pre-set to East — the single most generous combination on offer — so a hand nobody actually answered them for could still score Seat Wind and Prevalent Wind. Both now start blank and Next is held until each is tapped.
- Only changes hands that hold a wind pung; most hands never see these questions at all.
The questions ask about whoever won the hand
0.115.0 · 21 Sep 2026
- Scoring somebody else’s hand while keeping a tally, the questions now name them: “Did Hung declare any sets?”, “Yes, Hung called some”, “Hung drew the winning tile”. One phone records for the whole table, so “did you” was false on three hands in four.
- Scoring your own hand, or scoring without a tally, reads exactly as before.
Only changes a player could notice are listed. Plenty of releases fix things nobody would ever have seen.
